Aalborg University presented at Energy Informatics.Academy Conference 2025 (EI.A 2025), December 3 - 6, 2025, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (3–6 Dec 2025).
Why we were there: Unlike traditional Kubernetes scheduling that relies solely on resource metrics like CPU and memory, this study incorporates real-time green power availability from microgrids directly into its scheduling logic.
What we said: Opportunistic computing: we simulate a microgrid per European region, and we schedule workloads when we predict to have spare energy.
Audience: Target audience: academic and industrial researchers on artificial intelligence and agents.
Contribution: Talk, best paper award.
