IrRADIARE, which signs itself 'Science for Evolution', is a Portuguese research and development company working on engineering, the environment and sustainability.
It has offices in Algés, near Lisbon, and in Brussels. Its multidisciplinary team combines digital and numerical tools with engineering, economics, management and political science to support local and regional governance and public policy. Its own solutions include an intelligent energy management system for buildings, water and wastewater, street lighting and fleets; a tool for pay-as-you-throw municipal waste charging; and a platform for tracking local sustainability goals. It also runs national and European projects on energy, mobility, climate adaptation and smart systems.
