Tokiwa Software GmbH is a small software company in Karlsruhe that develops Fuzion, a new general-purpose programming language, together with its compiler, standard library and developer tools.
Fuzion aims for safety through simplicity. It reduces many language concepts to a few core features so that optimising compilers and static analysis can do more of the work, including deciding how code is implemented most efficiently and checking programs for errors. The company's background is in safety-critical and real-time software, verification and validation through static analysis, and certification standards such as DO-178C and ISO 26262.
