Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a Spanish public university with four campuses in the Madrid region.
It describes itself as focused on innovation and internationalisation and teaches a large share of its degrees in English. Its research is interdisciplinary and it has a strong record in European research funding. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering works on artificial intelligence, software engineering, natural language processing, distributed systems, high-performance computing, security and human-computer interaction, and takes part in national and international research projects.
