Aalborg University is a Danish public university with campuses in Aalborg, Copenhagen and Esbjerg, which directs its research at real-world problems and sustainable solutions.
Its Department of Computer Science, the unit taking part in GreenCode, does research in embedded and cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning, data-intensive systems, software and systems development, human-centred computing and the Internet of Things. It runs bachelor's and master's programmes in Aalborg and Copenhagen as well as continuing education. The department groups its work under four mission themes: digital energy, digital health, green transition and a safe and secure society, and it has a long record of joint work with industry.
